Principal's Message

...A warm welcome to you from the students, staff and community of the International School of Creative Science, Nad Al Sheba. I do hope that the information contained within our website will help to introduce you to the happy, safe and secure environment of our school, where every child is valued as a unique individual.

Whilst believing that student attainment is very important for success in adult life, at ISCS, we know that education is also about developing the spiritual, emotional and social side of the young people in our care. We also believe that our role is to help our students develop as independent learners and good team members, who care for the school community as a whole.

At ISCS, we will strive to provide excellent education in line with the UK National Curriculum and UAE curriculum, which will help create confident learners with a strong cultural identity, ethos and values. We further aim to nurture learners with equally high proficiency in English and Arabic languages with a strong appreciation of islamic values and knowledge of the Holy Quran.

We expect very high standards of work and behaviour from all our students. We apply the principles of positive behaviour management to support our children. We are here to serve the community, but also to challenge it, in order to maintain high standards and improve on all areas in line with the Dubai’s educational vision to create the best possible learners. We will ensure there is effective teaching and learning for every student, every day in every classroom and I will be working hard to ensure that this is the reality at our school.

We offer a rich programme of extension activities which include arts and crafts, swimming, physical education and multimedia design to name a few. students are encouraged to take part in a range of extra-curricular activities including multi-sports, football and cricket clubs, calligraphy and other activities available to them. Teachers arrange regular day trips to museums, parks and other places of educational interest. Residential outings that include outdoor activities are also a feature of the school.

We believe that all these opportunities contribute to making our school a place where children remain happy and motivated whilst they achieve their ambitions and realise their full potential.

Prospective parents and students are warmly invited to visit the school, to meet the staff and students. Education is about making a real positive difference, providing every opportunity for all learners to be successful, for us to celebrate achievements together. We would be privileged if you would like to come and join us.
