The best of both worlds, embracing innovation and maintaining our Islamic tradition

International School of Creative Science– Nad Al Sheba is a well-established educational institution that has successfully implemented a British curriculum along with the UAE National curriculum for Arabic subjects through a combination of Western and Arab teachers in Dubai. We offer a unique programme that prepares students for life beyond academics with the knowledge, skills, and attributes to succeed personally and professionally.

The school facilities have been designed as a state-of-the-art campus offering a range of premium facilities including integrated technology within classrooms such as interactive whiteboards, ICT labs, kitchen lab, a well-resourced library,  and a multi-purpose hall.

Students are offered an integrated British curriculum with an emphasis on real-world learning to foster their intellectual potential. They are advised to move beyond rote-learning and encouraged to develop and use their cognitive abilities for a better understanding of each subject.

This practice opens their mind to an entire world of possibilities. Elements of meaningful learning, self-discovery and the ability to think outside the box are fostered amongst our students so that they can tackle any problems that come their way.

Alongside quality education, attributes such as creativity, critical thinking, teamwork, and leadership are also nurtured. These transferable skills help connect students to their community and to the world at large. The aim is to prepare students for the workplace of the future and to produce students who are well-rounded, conscientious citizens with strong moral values.

Recently, concerns have been raised about the loss of Arab culture and tradition in UAE’s foreign schooling systems. It has been pointed out that a Westernised education may lead to a loss of national identity. We recognize these concerns and have designed our curriculum to ensure students’ education does not lead to the loss of their cultural identity and heritage.

We emphasize that students cannot be taught solely on the basis of a Western education model. Our course of study is a blend of British and Emirati curriculum taught in a supportive learning environment. With the aid of native instructors, pupils are given a wealth of information on Arabic traditions and norms as well as Islamic literacy so that they develop a strong self-identity.

Our British curriculum is not intended to replace Emirati social structure; rather it is aimed at preparing our children for a rapidly evolving world. By providing a solid foundation in Arabic culture and heritage, we help students express, embody and respect the traditions, values, and norms of local society as they prepare for the future.
